About Central Assembly
Hello,
I want to welcome you to the Central Assembly website. Here at Central we want to strengthen our community by improving relationships and having a positive impact on the family. We strive to create an atmosphere where you will feel welcome and also have a meaningful experience. Our goal is that every time you come to Central Assembly you will be encouraged in a fun and friendly environment while receiving practical insight on how to apply the Bible to your everyday life.
Being at a new church provides the opportunity for establishing relationships and friendships, and that is basically what we are all about—relationships with God and with people. We are a church for the Generations and want to provide the opportunity for people to grow in their knowledge of who God is, what His plan is for their lives, while at the same time giving them opportunities to operate in the gifts and talents that God has given them. When you attend Central Assembly you will see that you are surrounded by people just like you—people filled with hopes and fears, joys and sorrows, strengths and weaknesses; the common thread being that we all are committed to growing stronger and wiser through it all. There is so much that we can learn from each other.
Together we are working to become like the church we believe Jesus wants us to be.
So whether you are a spiritual seeker just beginning your walk toward God, or a committed believer continuing your walk with Him, we believe you can find a home here at Central Assembly and invite you to join us.
I encourage you to take a few minutes to look around the site at some of the different ministries we offer and upcoming events we have planned. We look forward to seeing you next Sunday!
God Bless,
Pastor Ted Buck

Church History
Central Assembly Christian Life Center, originally Bethel Assembly of God, has been a part of the Boise community since 1948. The first building owned by the congregation was located at 21st and Alturas Streets. From there, in 1957, we moved to a new building at 222 N. Latah. In the fall of 1973, we moved to our present campus on the corner of Fairview and Cloverdale where Maranatha Christian School and Operation Love Center were birthed. |
