This last Sunday Pastor Ted and his wife Linda brought an wonderful and encouraging word for mothers. They shared with us about the power of our words and the importance of marriage from God’s perspective. In a day when the culture has taken the message about marriage and made it a political one, God has something to tell us as followers of Christ that should give us freedom to stand strong for our faith and live our lives in Spirit and in Truth.
The Power of Communion
Pastor Ted had a powerful message this week. If you have ever taken communion you will want to hear this message. It will challenge you to see Christ in a deeper and more enriching way than you possibly ever have.

Healing – Pastor Ted
This is the second message in a series that was developed out of the Easter message this year.
Steve Gordon – Palm Sunday
Steve Gordon brought a very engaging and thought provoking message using humor and effective storytelling. He highlighted six different characters response to Christ before during and after His death during passion week. Using the help of “the skit guys” he told the stories of Thomas, Peter, John, Judas, the Soldier, and Barabas and gave us a glimpse into our own lives as we looked at the thoughts and feelings that were going through their minds that monumental week. Listen to this great message today.
Surprise, Surprise
God has the unfailing ability to always do the right thing.
1 Peter 4:12-16 (NIV1984)
12 Dear friends, do not be surprised at the painful trial you are suffering, as though something strange were happening to you. 13 But rejoice that you participate in the sufferings of Christ, so that you may be overjoyed when his glory is revealed. 14 If you are insulted because of the name of Christ, you are blessed, for the Spirit of glory and of God rests on you. 15 If you suffer, it should not be as a murderer or thief or any other kind of criminal, or even as a meddler. 16 However, if you suffer as a Christian, do not be ashamed, but praise God that you bear that name.
1 Peter 4:12 (PHILLIPS) …as though this were some abnormal experience.
1 Peter 4:12 (MSG) 12Friends, when life gets really difficult, don’t jump to the conclusion that God isn’t on the job.
1 Peter 2:20-21 (NIV1984) 20 But how is it to your credit if you receive a beating for doing wrong and endure it? But if you suffer for doing good and you endure it, this is commendable before God. 21 To this you were called, because Christ suffered for you, leaving you an example, that you should follow in his steps.
1 John 3:13 (MSG) 13So don’t be surprised, friends, when the world hates you. This has been going on a long time.
