Prophetically Speaking, Silence the CriticsPosted by Pastor Ted Buck |
How is God using you to bring God's presence into other peoples lives? God has sent us just as he sent his son, to impact others in any way that we can. (John 3:34) Have you ever wanted to move more in the supernatural? Pastor Teds sermon this week highlights and addresses questions like these in a very real and practical way.
He reminds us that the world doesn't need any more critics but it sure could use more healers. Are you speaking healing prophetic words into the lives of those around you? (James 3, Psalm 19:14) A critical spirit will destroy any witness we might have. We have to make the decision now that this will not be the year of setting people straight but the year of pointing people toward Christ.

I will allow the Lord to use me to speak prophetically into the lives of people.
I will no longer speak critical words to the people whom God has placed around me.
I will try to invite at least one person to church this week.

ONEPosted by Pastor Ted Buck |
The power of ONE. What "One" will you give, do, be, share, live this year? We as individuals and as a part f this church body, need to purposefully decide to do one thing every day that will connect us to people and show them they are of value and worth and that they matter.

“Rest” – Sue CarpenterPosted by Pastor Ted Buck |
This week we had the honor of having pastor Sue Carpenter with us again. She preached a message that will challenge and inspire you for what lies ahead in 2012. As we celebrated New Years Day we were encouraged and hopeful for what God is going to be doing in our lives in the coming 12 months. Sue challenged us and reminded us that we will receive only from that which we value. Are you valuing Christ and the relationship that you have with him?
She also revealed what may be the most powerful weapon in our arsenal as Christians. So often we are limited in our human minds and stifle the spirits work in our minds by constantly go go going. so often we need to slow down and take some time to rest our bodies, minds and souls.
You do not want to miss this message. It has the potential to completely revolutionize what your 2012 could look like. But it starts when we shift from an earthly culture mentality to a Kingdom culture mentality. Take time this week to listen and let us know how this has impacted your life, either her or on facebook.

Living in Balance pt. 5 – DiscontentmentPosted by Pastor Ted Buck |
This weeks focus was on our ability to become discontent with the stuff that we have. If we are going to live our lives in balance, especially with our finances, we need to be aware of our tendency for discontentment. Pastor Ted showed how our awareness is directly linked to our discontentment. Awareness fuels our discontentment. It is like gasoline on a fire. We don't realize what we "need" something or that we need to "upgrade" until we become aware of what it is that we don't have.
But Discontentment can also fuel positive things in our lives. We can find discontentment with the fact that there are people who still don't know Christ or people who don't have enough to eat or other social injustices in the world. It is out of our awareness and discontentment that we find ourselves acting.
This weeks passage of Scripture is 1 Timothy 6:6-10.
Questions that we need to ask ourselves: What fuels our areas of discontent? What can we do to become less aware? What could you do this week to become more aware of what someone doesn't have, to the point that it bothers? What should you become more discontented over in your life?

My Next Step Today Is:
- I will memorize 1 Timothy 6:6
- I will seek to identify what it is that fuels my discontent with what I have, and look for ways to stop its influence on my life.
- I will seek to become more aware of what someone else doesn't have to the point that it bothers me.
- I will try to invite at least one person to church next Sunday
