No commentsWell Done, Good And Faithful Servant
Our worship minister, Kevin McNeese, was our special guest on Sunday, August 15th. In this message, he shares his testimony of how God called him into music ministry at the age of 13, and since then, has honored that call through miraculous ways throughout his life. Kevin shares from Matthew 25:14 as well, focusing on The Parable Of The Talents, and encouraging everyone to make sure they are using the gifts God has given them, jumping through doors and opportunities that are opened, and knowing that even in free fall, God’s plan for your life is in motion.

No commentsTrade Your Nightlight for a Spotlight
Many times we allow our gaurd to come down and we begin to walk in a direction down a path that is not lit with the light of God. We begin to let the light fade and believe that we are ok with the direction that our lives are taking. The whole while we don’t realize how close to danger and death we really are. This weeks sermon looks at how walking in the Light makes a difference in our fellowship and relationship with God and with others.

No commentsWhat You Have is Enough
Steve McGowen, missionary from Thailand, brought a great message from the book of Matthew this last Sunday that will encourage your heart and challenge your spirit.
Although the feeding of the 5000 is a familiar story Steve illuminated some wonderful insights that we can apply to our lives today. When The boy brought his loaves and fishes many thought that it was not enough and that it really did not matter but with the Lords touch what he brought was more than enough and was used to bring blessing to thousands of people.

No commentsThe Battles Are the Lord’s
Many times in life people, including Christians, can get bogged down with worry, frustration, and fear. We are losing battles before they even begin. But we need to look to God for the victory and when we do we will be altogether victorious. We have to remember that when the enemy is taunting us what they are really doing is taunting God and we need to remind the enemy of our souls whose name it is that we come against him in, the name of the Lord.
Aaron masterfully illustrated this point with his storytelling ability. He walked us through the story of David and Goliath as it is laid out in 1 Samuel 17, creating an amazing visual display in our minds eye of what it must have looked and felt like to be there on the battlefield. His message will be an encouragement to you today.

No commentsTypical Father
What is God’s view of a typical father?
1. A pure man. (2 Peter 1:3, Eph 5:3-4 “not a HINT of immorality”) Be
faithful with your heart, soul and mind.
2. A prophet to his household. Speak God’s perspective into the
situation where you are living.
3. A man who is consumed by his marriage. The best thing a father can
do for his children is to love his wife. Every woman’s desire is to
have her husband honor and cherish her.
