Mainstream Youth Ministry - A Message From Pastor Nate...
Hey my name is Nathan Devore, youth pastor at Central Assembly. God called me at age 18 to be a youth pastor and all I can say is that “with God all things are possible." I graduated from Nampa Christian High School in 2007 and right after I started work as an intern at Central while my dad was the youth pastor. In the summer of 2007, God told me that I was to take over for my dad and in February of 2008 I started stepping up into the main leadership role. As of fall 2009, I was recognized as Central’s youth pastor. I believe that God can use anyone. He is no respecter of persons, no matter how young or old you are. If you are willing, you can be used of God. When I stepped in to God’s calling, right away I found out I wasn’t able and that’s when God reminded me that He is the one who is able and that all we need to do is be willing. God has called me to labor in this field, to preach his words, to annoint and raise up princes and princesses in the land so that this world will see, that they will hear and know that the Lord is God and above Him there is no other!

Why Mainstream?
Mainstream means “a strong current, force, group, movement, or trend.” In a world of constant change, everything pulls to what is popular. It is so easy to be influenced, but is hard to “be the influence.” Instead of being pulled by the strong current of the world and it’s desires, we desire to be a strong current for Christ and his desire to see this generation on fire and alive for him. We are Mainstream and our heart is to see lives changed. We strive to “Be the Light for this Generation.” If you don’t reach them no one will! BE MAINSTREAM!!!
