Ministries
Empty Nesters
If you are around 50 years old and not yet retired, we welcome you as part of this ministry. We meet together once a month, usually on the second Saturday, in private homes. Occasionally, we plan a one day road trip to a place of interest. There is no set age limit and all are invited to join us. We meet in the evening, usually, beginning at 5:30PM and break up around 8:00PM. There is a great support and friendship within the group. We look forward to each time together.

Care Ministry
Care Ministry is an arm of the church reaching out to the needs of others. We are responsible for hospital visitations, shut-in visitation and calling upon and praying for those who are sick or afflicted in same way. In addition, we follow-up on people who have visited our church and new converts that have accepted Christ as their savior. Our care ministry team consists of around 20 people who faithfully and quietly carry on the ministry. Care ministry is based upon Matthew 25:35-40 where Christ is speaking of the reward for those involved in this very real outreach.

Prison Ministry
There is a great need for ministry among the prison population here in Idaho. The needs are great, almost to the point of being overwhelming at times. Our Prison Ministry is accomplished via the mail. We send out a Bible study twice a month. We have close to 50 inmates on our mailing list. In addition to the Bible studies, we correspond personally with many of them. This is a very demanding ministry and requires much prayer. In addition, we have the opportunity to visit some personally at the Ada County jail.

Men’s Ministry Breakfast
There are a group of men at Central Assembly who have chosen to meet once a month for breakfast. For the most part, this is a social event for the men with a short devotional. We share, there has been a great coming together for the men and many close friendships have developed. Of course, all men of all ages are invited. We meet the second Saturday of every month at Perkins on Broadway from 8:30-9:30AM.

Woman's Ministries
This is an important area of Central Assembly's many sides. The ladies are involved in many practical helps geared towards helping missionaries around the world as well as needs within our own church family. They quietly do their ministry week after week throughout the year. Meetings are twice a month on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of each month from 10AM-2PM in the East Sanctuary class room. They have devotions and prayer with pot luck lunch and work on crafts for the annual bazaar held each November. This is a great time of fellowship while working for the Lord. For those who have children, they are located right next to the nursery.

Youth Ministries
Youth ministry is a special part of our church. We are committed to teaching young people how to live for God in today's world and we want our teens to know that they are very important to God and that through Him, they can be used to accomplish amazing things. Since an exciting program is vital for teens, we provide a balance of biblical teaching with wholesome, fun activities. Young people find that our youth group offers a lot and helps in developing lasting friendship. The youth group meets every Wednesday in the youth room by the gym at 7PM.
